Madrid offers some enjoyable daytrips to its surroundings

Journey to Madrid is always exciting for its visitors. However the excitement becomes double when the surroundings of Madrid are visited in the daytrips. The reason is that there are many sightseeing places in the surroundings of the lively city. The environment in the surroundings is mostly calm and peaceful. One of the problems is to select the right destination when the time is short. There are entertaining places in all the directions of Madrid and one cannot enjoy up to the fullest without a plan. So the important thing is that a visitor should have a list of places which he or she must visit around Madrid on priority bases. One of the best things to do is to hire a car for enjoying at various places around Madrid.

Some of the enjoyable daytrips from Madrid are destined to places like Segovia, El Escorial, Avila, Toledo and Seville. Segovia is famous for Roman Aqueduct and a castle for which it should be visited. El Escorial is famous as a graveyard of Spanish Kings. Avila is a city between Salamanca and Madrid. It has a famous city wall belonging to medieval times. Tolera is exciting as it remained a capital of Spain for long times. It is a glorious city having charm of medieval era. Seville is at some distance from Madrid but it can be approached easily by a train. Train approaches Cordoba also. It is an ideal place to be visited in a daytrip to Madrid. It is worth exploring because of its great history and architecture.

Similarly Valencia can be approached by rail. It is the third largest city of Spain having many beaches. Cuenca, Aranjuez, Warner Brothers Park, villa spain , Consuegra and El Pardo are some of the enjoyable destinations that can be visited in daytrips with an ease.One of the best places to visit from Madrid is Barcelona. It is bit far from Madrid but it can be approached with the help of train. However many people think that Barcelona should be visited in detail and it’s not ideal to travel on two high speed trains in a single day. Salamanca is another great city in Spain which should be visited in detail if there is time. It is known as a University City located at a distance of two and half hour drive from Madrid. Visiting Salamanca and staying there for one night can be fruitful expedition.
